Cachet integrates mobile deposit technology into mobile banking platform for Texas Trust Credit Union

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – April 2, 2013 – Cachet Financial Solutions, a leading provider of remote deposit capture solutions (RDC), is pleased to announce that Texas Trust Credit Union has launched Cachet’s mobile deposit technology within their mobile banking application – making deposits easier and more convenient for their members.

By integrating Cachet’s Select Mobile™ Deposit technology into the Texas Trust mobile application (platform developed by Access Softek), members can deposit checks with just a few clicks from most Android™ or Apple® smartphones and tablets. Members simply endorse the check, snap photos of the front and back, and submit for processing.

“We are excited to partner with Texas Trust Credit Union in making mobile deposit available to their members,” said Jeffrey Mack, President and CEO at Cachet. “Mobile deposit continues to be the most requested feature for mobile banking, and by meeting the needs of members now, Texas Trust has the opportunity to gain a significant competitive advantage as more consumers adopt these services.”

Texas Trust is able to manage their mobile deposit program using Cachet’s patent-pending CheckReview™ solution, which allows operators to view and approve high quality check images in real time. Administrators can set volume and velocity limits including the number of checks and maximum amount that can be deposited per day. Texas Trust has also implemented an instant good funds model with the first $2,500 deposited per day available immediately upon deposit acceptance.

“Mobile deposit is about convenience for our members,” said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. “With mobile deposit, members have the ability to make deposits anytime or anywhere and can feel safe knowing their transactions are handled securely. And without needing to visit a branch or ATM to make a deposit, they save valuable time and energy.”
