Cachet to Demonstrate CheckReview at FinovateFall

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – August 22, 2012 – Cachet Financial Solutions, a leading provider of commercial and consumer remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions for financial institutions and financial service organizations, is excited to announce its participation at FinovateFall in September of 2012, where it will demo CheckReview™, a patent-pending solution that helps financial institutions mitigate check fraud associated with Remote Deposit Capture. Finovate is an industry conference which features demos of innovative financial service and banking technology providers and their products. Cachet previously demonstrated at FinovateSpring 2012.

“The opportunity to present at Finovate for a second time is a tremendous privilege for us,” said Jeffrey Mack, President and CEO of Cachet Financial. “CheckReview has fundamentally changed the way that financial institutions can mitigate check fraud and manage their RDC programs, and we look forward to demoing it at FinovateFall.”

After a competitive application process, Cachet was chosen to demonstrate its proprietary CheckReview solution, which helps financial institutions to identify potential check fraud by giving them the ability to view and validate a high-resolution digital image of the check in real time. In the past, organizations offering remote deposit capture could only view a check image after it had been cleared.By allowing access to the images when the deposit is made and before clearing, Cachet gives users greater control in mitigating check fraud.

In addition to helping mitigate check fraud, CheckReview features a user friendly interface that makes managing the program simple, making it easier for financial institutions to offer a reliable and robust RDC solution to their customers. The system also features key reporting functionality to monitor the program and users.

“We are very excited to have Cachet demo their CheckReview solution at FinovateFall,” said Eric Mattson, CEO of Finovate. “The risk of check fraud has always been a concern for financial institutions and with the growing demand for mobile deposit, it’s going to become even more significant. It’s an important area for new innovators like Cachet to address.”
